

I got a letter today from a very special person. It made me take a step back and realize that there are so many “simple” things in life we take for granted. After a lot of thought, I tried to think of my own “simple things”. Here I go….this is for BOTH of you--and you know who you are….Some may appreciate this. Some may not care. Starbucks coffee reading the paper~I love waking up in my pajamas and realizing that I have my shirt on backwards because I was too tired to change it~I love the snow in the winter and the heat of the summer~I love who I am, even if a few body parts are slowly fading~I love I love being a mommy; I live each day to see my daughters blue eyes say "Good Morning Mommy"~I love the way she kisses me goodnight~ I love the way she does the sign of the cross backwards~I love it when she gives me a playdough heart~I love the way we end each night with a book and "I

I love my faith in my family~I love that we are all so different; I am blessed to have the
relationship I have with each one of them~ I like how when times are tough, are family support system grows bigger~I love the way SHOEY (SUE) is so open with her boys, and so strong in a sense that she has provided, inspired, and done her best. She is the one who keeps the spontaneity in me, and when I feel like crying just because, she is the one who will listen~I love her carefree attitude~I love how she is a good Auntie to my daughter~I love the way she tries to be tough and breaks~I love
has a huge heart~ counts her days of being so incredibly strong~Raised two beautiful girls~I love the way she spoils Emilee and watches “I Dream of Genie” with her; I love her coffee; I love way jazzyblu calls me for advise~I laugh at her as she is the ONLY one who will go in public completely out of line~I love the way she walks around in a my black jumpsuit from 9th grade and her orange socks with high heels and sings "glamorous life" as her girls cry out of embarrassment, yet, a loving mom who keeps them laughing~ ~I love how I try my best to inspire her and keep her believing and she doesn't listen~ love how she still has big bangs and don't care what anyone else says about her hair, even after I make fun of her~I love the way she is always trying to keep a relationship with my daughter no matter how far away she is~I love when she calls as Santa from the North Poll in December, and Disney characters every other week~PERSONALIZED PHONE CALLS! !I l
ove the love she gives as a Auntie~ I love the therapist in her~I love her caution signs of life's trials and how to do what is best, even when I don't feel like it. ~I love how my brother is such a good Husband, Dad and friend to all he knows~I love how he is one of few men that admit when they mess up and not afraid to cry or go totally crazy with emotions~I love telling everyone I wish I could marry someone like him~I love how he works hard and never gives up, never complains~I love the rock in him~I love his outlook, his compassion and emotions~his humor~when the chips are down, he is there to speak his mind~I love how good he is with his kids and his wife~I love the Uncle in him that is a kid and brings smiles to my girls face when she sees him! I love the way Auntie is stressed at times, but never takes a moment for granted; I love her go get spirit and attitude that she can do anything; I love the way she forgives; I love how she gets excited over new
perfume; I love the way she has overcome one of the hardest struggles in life as we speak..
I love how my baby girl sister SARA aka SALA and Handy Manny; She will always be my baby girl and my best friend~She makes me laugh and cry at the same time~ She is my rock when I
feel like falling~she is my right hand~ She is the ne who tells me how good I am at something when I think I suck~She makes me believe and never lose the faith; She is my inspiration, my partner in crime~She is my cheerleader and wine partner~She is the one who takes me to the grocery store at midnight to buy snap peas~ but I want salmon instead~She is the one that always drives me home after one too many; I love this girl because she is so special~I love ALL of the things we share in 
common~I love her sympathy, yet kick in the butt when needed~I love the look on my girls face when she hears Auntie's horn beep~ I love her cards she sends through school mail just to say I love you~ I love the way she teaches my daughter some of the most important values in life~LOVE~I love her gifts from my daughter on Christmas, Easter, Mothers Day and my Birthday~I know Emilee bought them...I love the way she is so independent and so strong~I love when she listens to me and I feel like I made a difference~I love our silly laughs~I love putting on my fashion shows for her at midnight~I love our crazy good times~I love my my nieces and my nephews~I love being homework hotline, even after I complain~I love watching them compete in sports and strive for perfection for their future~From Punky Brewster to the little players, they are all unique and keep me young~I love my baby sister because she cleans, cooks, and takes care of me when I am sick.
I love my ma and pa, my biggest rock and inspiration and the ones who keep me stronger~ I love the way my Dad tries to "fix" things~I love the way he looks into my daughters eyes and is in awe over her~I love watching him read her a book~I love the way he pep talks her into positive reality when she is not having a good day~I love the way he takes her in her wagon and walks with a stick~I love the way he takes time out of his day to take her to fead horses~
I love the way he has her milk ready for her every morning before school; I love the way he loves her~I love the way he keeps me strong, motivated..~I love it when he asks me to "cut his hair and clip my toe nails"~I love my Mom, my bestest friend~I love how she knows everything about me~I love how she thinks she is always right~I love coming home to the smell of dinner and Mom has invited everyone over~I love the way she says "come lay in my bed and watch a movie" ~I love it when she calls me to tell me “dinner is ready” and gets upset if we don’t come over and eat; I love the way she calls me 10 times a day to tell me what my daughter has done or to complain about being married to my dad for almost 50 years~I love the way she talks with my daughter, yet has the touch to d
iscipline her when needed~I love the "wooden spoon"!~I love it when she comes home with new 100 calories pack snacks~I love the way she come out of the bathroom and primps her hair and says "How do I look? and has a bottle of perfume on"~I love the way she loves my girl~I enjoy watching her discover new things with my girl, like secrets from Mom!~I smile when I see she has bought a new Disney movie because they will be collectors item some day~I love giving her pedicures with plastic baggies on my hands~I love the way my parents love ALL of us kids~ unconditionally~I enjoy sitting down and drinking coffee discussing our day, our hopes, our dreams, our "somedays"~I love the way Mom and Dad have given us the best life we could have~I know my life would never have been what it is today without them.~I love my cousins and other family members~Ilove my nieces and nephews who are all strong; I love when they make a mistake and say “Auntie you were right”; I love watching them grow up from little ones I was conned to babysit with wine coolers and pizza and ALL my friends over-to grown up mature kiddos; I love watching the few of them that have girlfriends "fall in love". How lucky are they to have such good girls....I love how each of them are different and have succeeded, or are trying to; I love being their aunt.
I love my simple friends, too many to name; I love the way I can have a sleep over at 35 years old and still feel like a kid again; I love the way they are a helping hand in need; I love the way I know how lucky I am. These are the simple things I can promise everyday none of us think about.
Wake up each day and remember....
